Our fantastic room at the Port Orleans. :)
Towel art! I wouldn't let my dad or sister touch them until I could take pics.
See? I do play video games. At times.
Here's a few pictures from my Spring Break! We stayed at my favorite hotel and stuffed our faces with beignets and coffee every morning, then pretty much shopped and played video games for the rest of the time.
I obviously didn't get a lot of work done (like I know I should've...), but it's just so nice to have time off with your family. Even though the Spring semester ends in less than two months for me, I'm still feeling a bit homesick...just for my family, definitely not for the dank coast of California (nothing against CA, it's just that where my family is happens to be the oft spoken-of "place where the sun doesn't shine"). In ny case, they plan on joining me over here and taking on 9 months of beautiful summer weather, which is completely awesome. Until then, though, I get to enjoy it by myself. :/
Ah, I LOVE the towel art - and you look so incredibly adorable! :)
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a ball on Spring Break.. I didn't know there was a dank part of California :( Boo to homesickness! x
ReplyDeleteOoh how fun!!!! I love family time, so much fun (usually...) :D :D

ReplyDeleteOoooooh that bathroom is so dreamy!!
ReplyDeleteAll the towel art is so adorable. It's always the little details that make an experience amazing :) It's too difficult to ever remember the big picture.
ReplyDeleteHang in there, pretty. They'll be there soon. And you'll have so many places to take them and show them :)
(heh. It's awkward when I'm shopping with people and I don't like what they show me. I always get embarrassed and try to mutter softly some excuse about why I don't like it)

Beignets!! They are so good but sadly the only place that makes them around here closed...5 years ago. Forever bummed.
